Honorifics: -san = Used when referring to an unfamilar person or to someone of higher stature. Is also sometimes used as a term of respect regardless of actual stature.
-chan = Used when referring to a familiar person or to someone of equal or lower stature. Is also sometimes used as a term of endearment regardless of actual stature. Usually used to refer to girls and children.

kun = Used when referring to a familiar person or to someone of equal or lower stature. Usually used by girls to refer to boys, or by superiors/teachers to refer to employees/students.
-sama = Used when referring to a person of much higher stature. Is sometimes used as a term of worship or extreme respect regardless of actual stature. Is also sometimes used in a sarcastic sense, to refer to a person who is stuck up ^^;
-dono = Used when referring to a person of great stature. It's rarely used in modern times but it usually refers to a host or a master.

none = Used only with people that are very familiar with each other, most cases stature is disregarded as well (exceptions are cases where parents disregard honorifics with their children, but obviously, the stature difference is still there)
